‘The Bachelor’: Desiree Hartsock, Marquel Martin, Sarah Herron, more join Rose Parade float
Who knew that you would get a chance to see some of “The Bachelor” away from the actual show? Well, that is happening on the annual Tournament of Roses Parade, which takes place in Pasadena and will be airing on NBC come New Year’s Day.
In a way, it does seem like a perfect fit for the show to have a float, given that roses are their currency, and there are about a billion of them in this parade every year. This should be fun, but we wonder how much press NBC will want to give a show on another network. Last year, Al Roker couldn’t be bothered to remember the names of the finalists on “The Voice,” which actually airs on the network.
So who specifically is going to be a part of this float? In terms of couples, expect to see “Bachelor” royalty in the form of Trista and Ryan Sutter, and then also Jason and Molly Mesnick, who are getting close to celebrating their own five-year anniversary of being a couple. Meanwhile, Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried are going to spend some time before their own upcoming wedding on the float. Chris Soules from this upcoming season will also be there, but he has to stay mum on who he picked this season.
There are also a pair of other “Bachelor in Paradise” alum present, who are mostly going to be there because it’s impossible not to love them: Sarah Herron and Marquel Martin. If Marquel throws out cookies to the audience, it could be one of the greatest things ever.
We’ve been spotlighting the contestants on Chris’ season of “The Bachelor” all December long, and you can see many of those right now over at the link here. Also, sign up now in the event you want to get further TV scoop on everything we cover via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: ABC.)
