It looks as though Porsha Williams has a storyline playing out right now that is far more dramatic than her making amends with Kenya Moore on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
According to a new report from TMZ, Williams was arrested, booked, and ultimately released on bail today after allegedly driving more than 20 miles over the speed limit. After that, it was discovered that she was driving on a suspended license. Somehow, these are the sort of things that we see countless celebrities getting arrested for at one point or another.
Williams will probably have to face some other consequences as a result of this, but we’re not going to pretend that they are extremely severe, barring of course the embarrassment. Teresa Giudice of the New Jersey show is still the woman in the franchise who is really facing some serious hard time behind bars.
Williams’ presence on the Bravo show this year is limited, as the network seems to be going in a slightly-different direction with their story. With that being said, Porsha’s close relationship with NeNe Leakes to us suggests that she will still have a place on the show moving forward. We don’t necessarily think that this will be a part of it, though. We are pretty sure she will show up for the reunion at the end of the season, and probably a handful of times before then if the current trajectory holds.
For now, let’s just hope that this arrest is yet another reminder to reality stars on the go: It’s really not worth it getting arrested, just because you want to get on the road with a supposedly-suspended license.
