ABC’s ‘Resurrection’ season 2 spoilers: Expect big things in ‘Steal Away’

Resurrection -Did ABC officially tip their cap on the future of “Resurrection“? After reading the full synopsis for the upcoming January 18 episode entitled “Steal Away,” it may be fair to wonder whether or not the show is officially going to be at an end soon.

We don’t want to waste much time here, since the meat of everything we are going to discuss comes via the synopsis below:

“After a series of inexplicable events, Bellamy fears for the safety of Rachael and her unborn child. Preacher James predicts that the baby’s birth will unleash an ancient evil. Margaret rallies the Returned at the government facility and forms an uneasy alliance with Preacher James, and Bellamy’s government contact (Donna Murphy) warns that something big is on the horizon, in the penultimate episode of ‘Resurrection.'”

Judging from the end of the synopsis, it feels pretty clear that we are getting to the end of the series as we know it. The question we have right now is that with big predictions and “something big” coming up, how in the world will this show have a proper end? Either the series has to hurry towards a proper conclusion, or hope that it at some point down the line gets a TV movie or something to resolve any loose ends.

The only thing that frustrates us right now is the whole baby story. We’ve seen it on “True Blood,” “Lost,” and “Falling Skies” how some child being born after a major change in the world has some sort of special powers, and we don’t really need to see it here.
