‘The Bachelor’ spotlight: Will Tandra Steiner ride away with Chris Soules’ heart?

Tandra -Every season, “The Bachelor” likes to start things off with one contestant who makes a huge splash upon entering the mansion. Then, most of the other contestants hate them for doing it, and they become ostracized to the point where it is hard for them to recover.

This could be the position that Tandra Steiner finds herself in, given that ABC’s press release for the premiere claims that she shows up via motorcycle rather than the standard limousine ride. This will probably not please the other women; whether or not it makes Chris Soules particularly happy is still to be seen.

Age – 30

Location – Sandy, Utah. Derek and Julianne Hough from “Dancing with the Stars” are from here! Otherwise, it is known as a suburb of Salt Lake City. There’s nothing too notable about it, but we get the sense that Tandra could be willing to move.

Occupation – Executive assistant. In theory, this is another job that she could do almost anywhere. It should be noted, though, that she has done some modeling work, so we’re not entirely sure if being an executive assistant is her desired field.

Strengths – She is going to stand out early, given her arrival and that at almost six feet tall, she is almost as tall as Chris! Also, we get the sense that she will be fairly aggressive, which is important during the early phases of the competition.

Weaknesses – Could she be too aggressive? We sense a problem coming where she actually works so hard to getting alone time with Chris that it alienates the other women, especially after already getting the big entrance. She will have a target on her back almost from the beginning, and one slip-up could mean the end of her chemistry with Chris.

Prediction – Tandra is a tough contestant to figure out. We do think that she will last a little while, but she feels like one of those castings that happened because producers feel like she’ll bring flavor and excitement to the show. It doesn’t feel like she was cast to be a serious contender. We think that her ceiling is around the top five or six.
