‘CSI’ season 15, episode 13 preview: The gig harbor case returns

While “CSI” does manage to pull out a great standalone episode from time to time, this season the gig harbor case really is what we are the most interested in. Therefore, we have to admit to being very excited to see the case is coming back to the forefront next week. Not only that, but Mark-Paul Gosselaar is also going to return to pull double duty again as dubious twins.

The title for this particular episode is going to be “The Greater Good,” and to get some other details in terms of what to expect, take a look at the official synopsis below:

“The CSI team learns the main suspect in the gig harbor killings is being released from jail due to lack of evidence, on CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, Sunday, Jan. 4 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.  Guest stars include Mark-Paul Gosselaar as twins Jared Briscoe and Paul Winthrop, and Mark Valley as Detective Daniel Shaw.”

Will this mark the episode we finally get some closure on the case? It’s possible, but we doubt it; given that there are five more episodes left this season, why not continue the case on a little longer? It also makes sense to try and resolve things during the season finale, since it is possible this could also be the series finale for the show.

Regardless of what happens, this at least does seem like it will be a great episode … and one that could even air at normal time for folks on the East Coast.
