‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: Kandi Burruss, Todd Tucker fight over holiday plans
Guess what? It is time for another “Real Housewives of Atlanta” episode to air on Sunday, and we are still going to have a chance to see another preview featuring Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker front and center for an issue involving Mama Joyce.
For some reason, the fighting for these people never seems to end, and that seems to be the case once again here. The only real difference is that they are fighting over something that should be relatable to most viewers out there: In-laws trying to get along. Due to the level of discord between Joyce and Todd’s mom, he actually suggests that they spend Thanksgiving apart with their mothers, just so that they don’t have to spend their time stressed out dealing with people who do not like each other.
While we like Todd for the most part, this idea is crazy. Kandi has a point: Are they just going to spend all of the holidays apart from each other? We feel like the answer here should be this: Tell the mothers to be on better behavior, and if they continue to act out terribly towards each other, just stop inviting them. While they may be parents, they don’t have the right to completely ruin the holidays by sniping back and forth at each other.
We’re sure that these two are going to come up with an issue at some point before this season is over, and hopefully it is soon enough to keep Kandi and Todd from having any further problems.

I don’t think Kandi is wrong. She’s use to her mom and, she’s learned how to get along with her. If you notice, Kandi makes her own choices. Remember, you don’t know how real this is.

Kandi, Love your mother because you only have one. Don’t allow your mother to take all the joy that you my have with your husband. I don’t know how put up with her calling your mother-in-law prostitute and your husband dead father a pimp. That was totally out of line. She needs to grow up. All I see is that she wants to keep your bank account close to her. She not one time ever talks about your happiness. I pray for you girl! Respect needs to come from your mother. Also, ,Hell NO!!! your mother should not have a key to your home. Your walks in and don’t even speak to Todd. That would not be cool. Respect your marriage.

I have to agree with everyone. Kandi is going to lose a good man because of her mother. Its sad she can’t see that.

Kandi was wrong her behavior is tacky and her true self is being revealed before our eyes and Todds I feel bad for him he is clearly a good man that loves a damaged woman

I truly do not understand Kandi’s behavior? Kandi is close to 40 years old and still allows her mother to control her. Kandi is quick to defend her mother (which is understandable so) but wrong is wrong and how can you think it is okay for Todd to be disrespected by Mom Joyce but Todd’s (rest in peace) mom Sharon should not have the same rights? Now we know why Kandi was cheated on in the past and has never been married, prior to Todd – was because she was already married to her mom (in the since of having a relationship of a control and let control). Kandi probably feels guilt that her brother passed away and she has to allow mom Joyce to have all control over her life. Todd you should look in Golden direction, anyone who will respect you as a hard working, faithful, educated, sexy man.

I’m not fittin to let nobody say blah blah blah bout my mama. Chile please and Todd is suppose to bend over and take from you and yo mama. Now that’s the pot calling…I’m just saying. We all love our moms but we are not all fools. Girl get yo self some help ASAP! I tried to speak kandi n mama Joyce so you won’t have any problem understanding.

Kandi is going to destroy her relationship with Todd. She continues to let mama Joyce control her relationship. Kandi needs to show some respect for Todd. he was absolutely correct to not want to bring his mother into mama Joyce is drama
