‘House of Lies’ season 4 video: Kristen Bell, Don Cheadle talk storylines

Come Sunday, January 11, the new season of “House of Lies” is going to premiere on Showtime. With that, you better expect a whole variety of storylines to unfold!

The video below features, Don Cheadle, Kristen Bell, and many others not just talking about the story, but also how they’ve grown as a cast and are completely comfortable performing alongside each other. In terms of big news, let’s start here with what has to be considered the biggest shock of all: Bell’s pregnancy is actually being written into the story! When she was expecting a child two years ago, producers used the whole “hide the pregnancy” trick at just about every corner.

What is very interesting about a pregnant Jeannie is first and foremost, finding out who the baby’s father is. She is not exactly giving up that information willingly, and while we know that she and Marty Kaan had a thing going for a while, it ended after the full extent of her betrayal was clear. Since many months have passed between the end of season 3 and the start of this one, there is plenty of potential for things to change. Jeannie, on top of this, has to also deal with being the boss of Clyde and Doug, and in surprising news to no one, they are not going to respond well to authority in the slightest.

As for something else to expect, look for Kaan and company to be far more proactive than ever before in doing almost everything themselves. They’ve had to seriously downsize to keep themselves afloat, and there will be many complications as a result.
