‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2 video: Tom Mison on working with Nicole Beharie

While “Sleepy Hollow” season 2 may be at present on hiatus, Fox is being more than kind to ensure that we don’t feel like we are being completely left out in the cold.

The video below may not give you a whole lot in the way of insight into what comes next on the show, but for fans of Tom Mison and Nicole Beharie, it is hard not to watching him speak about why she is so fantastic on the show. He’s candid, and extremely complimentary at the same time:

“Nicole brings a real honesty to it, to everything. Even the most ridiculous thing … She will find an emotional truth to it. Without Nicole’s performance, Ichabod’s performance, my performance, wouldn’t work.”

It is probably due to these performances that there are so many avid Ichabod / Abbie ‘shippers out there, and that is a relationship that we are still conflicted about. There is a part of us that thinks that they could be great in an advanced capacity, but at the same time, we feel like Ichabod making a move while being a married man would be extremely unlikable.

For the time being, we’re more than content to watch these two characters continue to just develop a natural, at-times fun chemistry between the two of them. They are the core of why the show works; some of the weaker spots during the first half of season 2 had to do mostly with all of the complicated storytelling happening around the two of them.

New episodes of the show return early next year, and we’ll have some further scoop on them soon.
