For almost every Wednesday night over the course of the past two months, we have had a chance to check out all sorts of great stuff when it comes to “Top Chef.”
Unfortunately, this Wednesday is going to be the first one in quite a long time without Padma Lakshmi and the rest of the gang around. There is not a new episode airing on Bravo, and for one simple reason: This is Christmas Eve that we are talking about here! As a matter of fact, there is not an episode seemingly scheduled for a little while, given that next week is New Year’s Eve.
While we would assume that this sort of wait will be harmful for the overall audience of the show, let’s be honest: It’s for the best. The ratings tend to slip a little bit around the holidays, and Bravo probably knows that they don’t want to lose any viewers.
As of right now, we have a small contingent of chefs left, and there is still a lot of time for various things to happen. While we would say right now that Gregory is the favorite to win it all, one of the interesting things about the show is that due to its airing schedule, the editing sometimes happens to be completely unpredictable. We feel like almost everyone left has a real shot of winning.
Of course, don’t worry; as we get a little closer to the next new episode of the show airing, we are going to have a whole lot more news and updates when it comes to the show soon!
