‘The Fosters’ season 2 spoilers: See Callie, Brandon, more in new promo

While you will get a chance to see “Pretty Little Liars” and “Switched at Birth” pretty early in the year on ABC Family, you’ll be forced into waiting at least a little bit longer to see the next move on “The Fosters.”

Still, we hope that it is worth the wait. Monday, January 19 is when the show comes back on the air to close out season 2, and it will be doing so by addressing many story threads that were not picked up completely during the Christmas episode. For example, what in the world happens next when it comes to Callie and Brandon? Are these two, despite being under the same roof, going to become a long-term couple?

Also, there is the simple struggle revolve around belonging. Who is your real family, and how much do you want to fight to stay with them? After everything that Callie and Jude in particular went through this summer, they may be more cognizant than ever before of who the people they really love are.

The promo is mostly a heartwarming one, so while the show can be dramatic at times, don’t worry too much about whether or not you are going to feel like you have your heart smashed on the floor after watching it. If anything, it does a very good job of making you want to see more of this series.
