‘Dancing with the Stars’ 20: Is Robert F. Kennedy Jr. going to appear?

DWTS -Over the years, “Dancing with the Stars” has shown itself to be very interested in casting as diverse a roster of people as possible. We’ve seen everyone from actors to athletes to reality stars on the show, and even a few political figures here and there. Take for example Tom DeLay, or Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol (who appeared multiple times).

So could a Kennedy be next? We know that the show would certainly love that, and it appears as though Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has at least been proposed with an offer to join the show.

Per the New York Daily News, the environmental activist’s daughter Kick posted a text message from her father on Instagram (which has since vanished), and it said the following:

“I just got solicited to do a show called dancing with the stars … They will pay me $150,000 to commit and additional $350,000 if I make it into the semifinals in a televised dance contest. I know that some of you have seen me dance and I thought it advisable to consult you as I consider this offer.”

First of all, this is a very serious message pertaining to a show like “Dancing with the Stars.” As for the salary information, that is not exactly the biggest surprise in the world. These stars get paid decent money, but compared to other actors on hit shows, it’s not that much at all. The real value comes in the gigs and the publicity that you get as a result of the show. It is consistently an audience of around 15 million people watching you every week.
