‘The Bachelor’ spotlight: Will Michelle Davis decorate her way to Chris Soules’ heart?
While we still have very little idea as to whether or not Michelle Davis is going to be the one to win Chris Soules’ heart on “The Bachelor,” we can at least say this: She could be an interesting person to watch if she lasts. She has an interesting job, has an interesting story, and really could get some screen time if she makes it far enough.
With all of this said, there are still some other questions about whether or not she will be long enough to make her presence felt at all.
Age – 25
Hometown – Provo, Utah. It’s interesting in a way to get another Michelle from Utah, given how popular Michelle Money was as recently as “Bachelor in Paradise.” There’s nothing notable here in the context of Chris.
Occupation – Wedding cake decorator. This story just writes itself! She spends all of her time decorating cakes for other people … and now she wants one of her own. It’s like Desiree Hartsock, but with food! With this sort of fun job, she does have an interesting icebreaker to go off of right away.
Bio highlights – The most important thing about her is not mentioned on her bio, but she is a mom to two children. She first became a mom when she was pretty young, so she has had a whole lot of experience caring for kids, and probably had to grow up and be responsible much faster than most.
Positives – She loves her kids very much, and seems to be a pretty kind, gracious person from what we’ve seen online. As we saw with many moms, she probably will embrace this experience, given that there are not many opportunities she may have to focus on herself in the real world.
Negatives – With this being said, Michelle may miss her children. Not only that, but joining a family of three could be a little intimidating to Chris. She also seems to be fairly religious, and without knowing a whole lot about Chris there, it’s possible that they don’t match up.
Prediction – We hope Michelle lasts a while, since there are few parents of two children who last here for very long. It’s with that in mind that we don’t think it is very likely. It is going to be hard for Chris to give this relationship the care that it needs, while still being interested in so many other people.
