NBC’s ‘The Voice’ video: See Chris Jamison perform National Anthem

Even though there may not be a new episode of “The Voice” airing on NBC tonight, we do have something right now that may still be music to the ears of money: A chance to hear Chris Jamison perform again!

This performance, though, comes courtesy of the Pittsburgh Steelers NFL game over the weekend, where he performed what has to be one of the most difficult songs for anyone to take on: The National Anthem. Sports fans are very patriotic, and therefore are very particular on how the anthem is performed. If you do something to upset them, you better believe that you are going to hear about it, and also be immortalized in some terrible way for many years to come. Just as Roseanne Barr about that.

Luckily, Chris seemingly has nothing to worry about here at all, given that he completely nailed the performance. Did you really expect anything less from him? Man is on quite a winning streak! Even though he came in third place on this past season of “The Voice,” we feel like he is still the most commercially-viable of any of the artists we saw, with a voice that is somewhat similar to Justin Timberlake or even his own mentor in Adam Levine.

We expect that Chris is going to get a little bit of a break in the coming days to celebrate the holidays, but after that, the grind begins to try to find a way to keep this career going. With so many singing shows these days, you have to strike while the iron’s hot!
