Want to know what is coming up on the next new episode of “CSI”? We suppose that we will begin here with the bad news, and that is that for all viewers on the East Coast, you are likely looking at yet another NFL-related football delay. Hopefully, the fact that it is near the end of the season will mean that some teams will decide to not slow the games down so much!
As for why there is a new episode airing next week, rather than the show taking a holiday hiatus, the answer is pretty simple: CBS needs to run some of these out in order to launch another new show in “Battle Creek” (produced by Vince Gilligan and David Shore) in this timeslot a little later this season. We’re still surprised that they are not using this spot for the “CSI: Cyber” spin-off, but that’s not really the focus here.
Anyhow, go ahead and take a look below to see some of what you can expect in this particular hour that is coming up:
“The CSI team reopens a 10-year-old murder/suicide case when the sole survivor claims her accused father was innocent, on CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, Sunday, Dec. 28 (10:30-11:30 PM, ET/10:00-11:00 PM, PT), on the CBS Television Network. Dean McDermott guest stars as Garth Fogel, a suspect in the case.”
With this particular guest spot, McDermott is joining a roster of guests for this season that already includes “The Talk” panelist Sharon Osbourne, and also Bella Thorne of “Shake It Off” fame.
