‘Doctor Who’ season 8: Peter Capaldi reflects on experience so far

Doctor Who -Now that we are getting pretty close to the end of “Doctor Who” season 8, isn’t it time to get a little bit nostalgic? This has been a crazy year for Peter Capaldi, who filmed a full season, traveled the world, and has seen the entire season play back now.

So how does he feel about it? In a new interview with Mr. Media (see below), the actor explained that while he knows that not everyone likes him as the Doctor, he is not too worried about this. After all, everyone has this sort of reaction to the character! There are always some Doctors that people like and dislike more than others.

As for playing the character, he finds it overall to be an extremely positive experience so far:

“I sensed fate was at work. I would not have been being true to myself if I had turned away from it … There’s nothing about it I find negative. It’s been a very positive experience because I’m working with great people and it’s a great, fun experience.”

The Doctor is going to be seeing some crazy adventures in the upcoming Christmas Special, but regardless of what happens, we know that Capaldi has already confirmed to be in the upcoming ninth season. As for the status of Jenna Coleman, however, that is still unclear. We know that Clara will be in the special, but there are conflicting reports regarding her future on the show.

We are going to have some further news related to “Doctor Who,” so be on the lookout for more scoop on that.
