‘Better Saul Call’ spoilers: Bob Odenkirk looks lonely in new poster

Better Call Saul season 1AMC clearly knows that they have a major hit potentially on their hands with “Better Call Saul,” and with that in mind, why not do everything that you can to promote it?

Therefore, we present to you the newest poster for the show, which seems to play up a few things: Saul (Bob Odenkirk) is a pretty lonely guy, and he is working to adjust to live within the New Mexico desert. Our feeling here is that this is not a particularly easy place for him to be the majority of the time for him, and we already know that it leads him down a pretty dark road. (For a larger look at the photo, just click on it to expand.)

The series premiere for the show is Sunday, February 8 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time, and we know already that AMC is trying something rather unique with this show in sticking it on Monday nights. Their hope here obviously is that there will still be plenty of people who want to check this out, especially from the contingent of either diehard “Breaking Bad” fans, or people who have seen Odenkirk somewhere else and realized how awesome he can be.

Details about the show are still for the most part sparse, save for that it is mostly a prequel series to “Breaking Bad” showing how Saul got where he is … though there are some suggestions out there that maybe we are going to be looking towards the future here, as well. The show already has a two-season order, and that is a ton of time to explore and figure things out.
