2015 Golden Globes: Peter Dinklage, Tatiana Maslany, Finn Wittrock, ‘Masters of Sex’ snubbed

There are always going to be snubs at any awards show, and while we’re bummed about some omissions from the 2015 Golden Globe nominations this week, we’re pretty thrilled for the most part that the nominees here were so diverse, and had so many first-time inclusions.

Of course, we’re still here to talk about snubs, and that is precisely what we are going to do below!

Peter Dinklage – Coming off of his best season of “Game of Thrones,” he and the rest of cast got zero love.

Tatiana Maslany – Seriously? Unfortunately, it feels like the “Orphan Black” star is just not getting the awards-show love. At least she has hundreds of thousands of people who know she’s worthy.

“Masters of Sex” – Seriously, how does “Ray Donovan” get two nominations and this show gets none?

Kerry Washington – We said the same thing about “Scandal” yesterday.

“Sons of Anarchy” – This was probably the show’s best chance to get some love for its final season.

“Mad Men” – Once again, nothing for Don Draper and company … and really AMC in general got the shaft this year.

“Boardwalk Empire” – No final trophy for Nucky Thompson.

“The Newsroom” – Jeff Daniels could have been a nominee, given what has happened at the Emmys. The show itself was unlikely.

“The Big Bang Theory” – We’re not always the biggest supporter, but it deserved to be there over “Girls,” which had itself a heck of a week season.

Mindy Kaling – Easily deserving this year over Lena Dunham.

Finn Wittrock – To us, really the star of “American Horror Story: Freak Show.”
