‘Better Call Saul’ spoilers: New teaser all about a shredder

Better Call Saul season 1While AMC may be fairly hesitant right now to show off anything too substantial when it comes to “Better Call Saul,” we suppose that we really should just be happy to get whatever the network decides that they want to give us.

Today, that includes the latest teaser video that was released by AMC for the upcoming February 9 premiere, which focuses on one thing and one thing only: A shredder, which seems to be going through a series of documents at a pretty rapid speed. This to us is mostly a reminder of what the show is looking to execute in terms of tone, and also as a great reminder that Saul is not a man who is above anything. He will shred documents, lie, cheat, or do a variety of other terrible things here and there if it means that he is able to get what he wants.

This story will be at least partially a prequel series (if not almost entirely) to what happened to Bob Odenkirk’s character on “Breaking Bad,” and help to explain how someone like him ended up getting in such a precarious position. There will be some comedy in it, but for the most part, it does appear as though the show is going to be focusing on drama more than anything else.

We’re going to have a whole lot more news on “Better Call Saul” and so much more moving forward, so just be sure to keep your eyes peeled for most of that.
