‘The X Factor’ UK: Tulisa open to returning, but will she?
Let’s start here by saying that above anything else, we have to give her some credit here as a mentor. She was a part of two seasons, and of those two seasons, her acts included Little Mix and Ella Henderson. While you cannot give a judge / mentor all the credit for someone becoming a star, this at least shows that she is pretty good at helping artists during the early stage of their career.
Now, back to the comments about her wanting to return to the show. Speaking per the Daily Mail after having a few little parts on the show this season, she passed along the message that she feels now that she is in the right place to give this a go:
“Going back to The X Factor is something I feel I could definitely do now because of the place I’m in.
‘I understand with that show that for anyone doing it, it takes a lot of energy and you have to feel it and want to do it and you have to have that passion. The place I’m in now, I definitely have that back again, and it something that I would and could do.”
When it comes to the future of the judging panel, we cannot imagine Mel B going anywhere, and Simon Cowell will most likely be back so long as there is no American show next year. This leaves Cheryl Fernandez-Virsini, who could want to tour, and then Louis Walsh. Personally, we want to see Louis depart in favor of a younger male judge who will go toe-to-toe more with Simon, and from there, we’ll see what happened. We feel like Tulisa did a good job, and on the basis of that, we’d be happy to see her again.
