Is ‘Faking It’ season 2 or ‘Awkward’ season 4 new on MTV tonight?

Over the past several weeks on MTV, we have received quite the awesome opportunity to spend every night laughing and having a great time watching a pair of comedies in “Awkward” and “Faking It.” We cover the two shows extensively, and are excited to see where each one of them goes moving forward.

Unfortunately, you are not going to get a chance to see either one of these programs on tonight. Instead, you are going to be waiting for a while longer. Both of these shows aired their respective finales last week, and the only good news that we can offer you is that neither is going to be going anywhere in the immediate future.

As for when you’ll get a chance to watch both of these shows again, the main answer we can offer you right now is “spring.” More than likely, the two shows will return in April. For “Awkward,” it will be the start of its fifth and final season that closes the door on Jenna Hamilton and her journey. Meanwhile, “Faking It” will be airing the second half of its second season. Its future beyond that is a little unclear, but we would think that the show would be around for at least another batch of episodes. It seems to be popular enough with its diehard crowd to have more of a life moving forward.

Of course, we’re going to be back soon with even more great updates related to “Faking It” and “Awkward,” even in the months they are not on the air.
