‘The X Factor’ UK: Louis Walsh won’t manage Stereo Kicks, ponders future

The judges -Is the end finally near for Louis Walsh on “The X Factor“? There are signs now pointing to this as a definite possibility, as he ponders his future following the elimination of Stereo Kicks from the competition this past weekend.

Speaking about this subject in a new interview with the Mirror, the prolific music manager made it clear that the show is much more work than many may think that it is from the outside looking in, and that has changed more so now that Simon Cowell has returned:

“I’m exhausted. People think we just swan in here on a Friday and Saturday but it’s five days a week – and it’s full on. With Simon back, he’s working us hard. There’s meeting after meeting. There’s a meeting directly after each show on Saturday night.

“It’s been 11 years now. It’s too early to think about next year but it does take it out of you. I don’t know what next year holds.”

Personally, we feel like it is Louis’ time to go, mostly because the show could use a fresh face with something new to say. Bring him back maybe as a guest mentor or an adviser at some point, but there’s no need for him to stay a judge after so many years.

Louis also said in the interview that he will not manage Stereo Kicks moving forward, mostly because he already has a slew of other acts that he is working with that fill up his time.
