Over the past season and a half or so, “Resurrection” has crafted a story that has carefully focused around one key point: All of these people have returned from the dead, and they have to get used to what is going to be an insane new existence for themselves. It is not going to be easy, but they try to make it work.
With that being said, what in the world happens in the situation where the Returned could end up going away again? This is something that will be questioned on the next episode “Aftermath.” The promo below basically teases everything, from the emotion of the situation to Jacob and many other characters looking at the possibility of saying goodbye.
Usually, ABC chooses to release a synopsis for this episode to go along with the promos, but there isn’t one that is out just yet.
What we do wonder now is this: Is Tom really gone? The issue when you have a show that revolves so much around the dead being brought back to life is that when you do choose to kill off a character, these questions are of course going to come up! We’re going to be wondering the answer to this one for a little while, and we’re sure the answers are coming up shortly.
The one thing that you should remember here, though, is that with most of the episodes left coming in January, the writers / producers should want to give you something big here.
