‘Better Call Saul’ spoilers: New promo airs during ‘Walking Dead’ fall finale

Better Call Saul season 1AMC certainly knows how to make the most of their marketing money. They have already invested quite a bit into the “Better Call Saul” series, giving it two seasons and a premiere title on February 9 that is airing directly after “The Walking Dead.”

Tonight, the network gave the show another fancy treat: A new promo that aired during the fall finale of the zombie drama. Did this make you more excited for the show to air? We certainly hope so, since potential is there for this to be a worthy follow-up to “Breaking Bad” (even if it does seem to be mostly a prequel).

The sneak peek below was short, but effective. Basically, the main focus of it was on Saul (Bob Odenkirk) trying to park his car, while attendant Mike (Jonathan Banks) had no interest in letting him in. It was all a setup to more or less watch Saul get his butt handed to him.

Ultimately, this seemed mostly to just be a way for AMC to promote their upcoming hit series, without at the same time having to give up many goods about the overall story of the show. Was it the best of both worlds? Basically, but we’re sure that almost everyone was hoping to see something a little bit more.

The only reason we figure that the producers did not hand over more is because they know that many out there are probably going to watch anyway. There’s no reason to give up the goods yet.

Hopefully, we’ll have video for you soon.

What do you want to see on “Better Call Saul” when the show finally airs on AMC? Let us know right now with a comment.
