‘Two and a Half Men’ season 12, episode 6 preview: Jon Cryer directs Louis’ second episode

Tonight, “Two and a Half Men” aired a surprising episode on Thanksgiving that, interestingly enough, was one of the most important ones in the entire series. The question here is just how many people ended up watching it.

Well, you hopefully you liked Louis, since the kid is going to be staying put for a while. The next episode is entitled “Alan Shot A Little Girl,” and this will mark the second installment featuring the character. Take a look at the short synopsis, which suggests that Alan is going to have plenty of hijinks when it comes to the kid:

“When Alan realizes Louis thinks he’s cool, he starts breaking Walden’s rules in order to stay that way.”

This episode was directed by Jon Cryer, which means that it will have a little more personal of a touch to it. What is interesting is that we don’t really see many multi-camera shows that are directed by actors, mostly because this is not a show that is pretty easy to multitask.

We’ll just have to see where the story goes from here. We like the character for the most part, at least in that the show is not just trying to make the kid into the new version of Jake. The other issue that they have to think about here is that the show really cannot focus too much on just the kid in the long run, since the major focus of the show really is about Ashton Kutcher and Cryer’s characters.
