‘MasterChef’: Gordon Ramsay on possibility for female replacement for Joe Bastianich

MasterChef -In some ways, we’re still trying to process the super-surprising news that Joe Bastianich is no longer going to be a part of “MasterChef” on Fox. This franchise has been an enormous hit in America, and we assumed that this was a tremendous platform for him in order to continue to promote his brand and his ventures.

Rather than spending our time, though, wondering why he is leaving, we’re going to be our focus on something a little bit different: Who could replace him? There is already a pretty heavy campaign going right now to have a female judge on the show for the first time, and Gordon Ramsay has already even responded to the idea on Twitter.

From this standpoint, it’d be great to have a female voice on the show, and there are certainly countless possibilities out there for a perfect person. Heck, we’d even be cool with Joe’s mom Lydia on the show.

With all of this being said, the big thing that we want from the judges is chemistry above all else. We want to make sure that you get the right person who will continue to keep the franchise strong, and one of the real reasons for the show’s success has been Joe, Gordon, and Graham Elliott bringing something different to the table week after week. So long as the new hire is someone entertaining, and someone who brings a perspective that is different than the other judges, it really doesn’t matter too much to us who it is.

Joe will continue on the show until the end of “MasterChef Junior” season 3, which airs on Fox early next year.
