There is no new episode of “White Collar” on USA tonight, and while that may be some pretty-rough news to swallow, hopefully getting a little bit of news from series star Matt Bomer may help to cheer you up a little bit … maybe. It may make you rather nervous to know that the show is not tying up every loose end with the series finale.
Speaking to TV Guide in a new interview, Bomer makes it clear that there is something at the end of the show that is going to leave you speculating as to what happens next:
“In typical White Collar fashion, it does end on a big cliffhanger that is shocking and challenging and open to interpretation.”
We do know that there will be plenty of people who are none too pleased about this, but we also know that there are plenty of people who will be upset over a series finale regardless. There is almost no way to satisfy every single person who watches a show at the end, since everyone has their own idea as to how it ends. So long as it is a really cool cliffhanger, we are not going to be particularly upset about this.
In talking further about this ending, creator Jeff Eastin said the following to the website:
“I think it will create huge passion … I’m hoping people aren’t ready to stone the building. I think it will be satisfying and people will ultimately enjoy it.”
The final three episodes of “White Collar” will start airing again next week on USA. Stay tuned for more!
