‘Hart of Dixie’ season 4 spoilers: First Rachel Bilson – Wilson Bethel premiere details

Yesterday, it was announced that rather than stay in its previously-established position on the CW schedule, “Hart of Dixie” is moving up. Rather than waiting now until Friday, January 9 to premiere on the network, the premiere is getting a special airing on Monday, December 15, prior to the fall finale of “Jane the Virgin.”

Admittedly, we are still reasonably confused as to what the decision-making is here, mostly because of the fact that this is going to give the show a pretty long hiatus between one episode and the next. Maybe it is a good thing that the show is airing on a Monday since there are more possible viewers, but there is also a heap of competition.

Now that we’ve said all of that, let’s get to those premiere details. “Kablang” is the title for the premiere, and the synopsis below makes it pretty clear that Zoe and Wade are going to be at the forefront of the story. Not only that, but she is going to be trying to win him over:

“Zoe (Rachel Bilson) is excited that Wade (Wilson Bethel) has decided to stay in BlueBell. However, she is struggling with getting him to notice her attempts at romantic gestures. Brick (Tim Matheson) is surprised when he gets a knock on his door from someone from his past. Meanwhile, George (Scott Porter) and Lavon (Cress Williams) are on the outs after realizing they both want the same thing: Lemon (Jamie King).”

Eventually, we want to think that she succeeds, given all of the talk about Bilson’s pregnancy being written in this season. If she doesn’t win him over, then this is almost definitely a sad state of affairs, since that means the baby could belonging to another character.
