‘CSI’ season 15, episode 7 video: The worst rehab ever

For those looking forward to Sunday night’s new episode of “CSI,” the good news is that it is still looking as though it’s going to air! Well, that’s the only good news for now in the scheduling department. It’s still far too early to determine anything else, given that we are perpetually at the mercy of the cruel masters of the universe known as NFL football.

“Road to Recovery” is the name of this episode, and for some reason or another, CBS is not giving you a whole lot to go on when it comes to this story right now. There’s nothing that makes you think that this is connected superficially to any of the other long-running stories, at least courtesy of the official synopsis:

“The CSI team investigates the death of a woman full of alcohol and drugs in a pool at a rehab facility.”

This is just the way the show operates for those who haven’t spent a decade and a half with it. You’ll get a chance for a while to see something like the Gig Harbor killer, but they rarely, if ever, turn this into a story that will last for an indefinite period of time. After all, there is probably a part of them that remembers syndication, and that not everyone can stay up to watch this show at random times every Sunday. That is probably one of the reasons why we are so unsure about its future.
