‘Chicago Fire’ season 3 spoilers: Molly’s, and the food truck business

While there are many stories on “Chicago Fire” that hover very much on the serious side (and with good reason), there is one that we are consistently as interested to watch on the show these days: Molly’s, and the quest to make the food truck happen. We definitely understand that it is a relatively small business compared to an entire fire department, but it represents a rare bit of a levity in a Dick Wolf franchise that by and large puts a premium on making us depressed.

With this in mind, we are thrilled to at least give you some information right now: The food truck will be turning up during the upcoming winter finale! This news was confirmed today by TVLine, though we do ultimately still feel like there is a pretty long road ahead to making sure that this version of Molly’s is really successful.

The one major advantage to this business is simple: Everyone loves food trucks these days. We don’t know how many people love them when the temperatures are this horrendously cold, but we’re also not in Chicago and cannot really speak too much about it.

What we do at least know is that there is still a little bit of time between now and when the winter finale is going to air. Therefore, we imagine that we’re going to have a whole lot more in the way of news on the show soon. Be sure to keep a look out for some of that!
