‘Chicago PD’ season 2, episode 9 preview: When will Sophia Bush, cast return?

Let’s hope that you really found a lot to like in “Chicago PD” Wednesday night. After all, you may be waiting for a little while before you end up seeing anything else with the show.

After tonight’s new episode, NBC has understandably decided that they want to push the show off the air for a week come Thanksgiving, since it does not make a whole lot of sense to air the show when there will not be a whole lot of viewers around to see it. Instead, you’ll be waiting to see Sophia Bush, Jason Beghe, and the rest of the cast back in action seemingly come Wednesday, December 10. This date has not even been officially confirmed yet, but given that this is when “Law & Order: SVU” is returning, we expect the same thing here.

The promo below gives you a little bit more insight into what you can expect in this episode, and it is something that we have seen for many years now: A story all about a new, deadly drug that puts almost everyone in Chicago in danger. The team has to figure out how to stop this from spreading, while keeping the city safe at the same time. That is no easy task, but we know that this team will be able to pull it off.

As for a synopsis, we cannot share one yet just because there isn’t one. Hopefully, that will change soon, and we’ll have a little more in the way of information!
