Is ‘CSI’ season 15, episode 6 new tonight, or delayed due to football?

If you are a fan of “CSI,” then you have to be used at the moment to a tremendous deal of frustration. How many times now have we seen the CBS procedural delayed in some way due to NFL football? Well, it took three weeks for the most-recent new episode to air, and there is always some concern that this could happen yet again.

Well, luckily, that is not going to happen with the upcoming sixth episode of the season. This is going to be airing tonight on CBS, and we have the latest evidence of this very thing courtesy of the network itself. The show’s Twitter page posted that there are going to be some delays in a few select cities, and that includes New York City and the Nation’s Capital.

It’s a good thing that this is an episode that is going to be airing tonight, since some early buzz suggests that this episode is going to bring back some of the more substantial story arcs this season, and not just a traditional case of the week.

One other reason to dive in and enjoy this episode is simply a matter of not knowing just when the series is going to be coming back onto the air. Due to the show’s ratings, which we blame in part on the aforementioned terrible timeslot, it is probably in more danger of being canceled than it has been throughout the entire 15-year run of the show. also does not help that the episode count this season is only 18.
