‘Dancing with the Stars’ 19 spoilers: Bethany Mota, Sadie Robertson, Janel Parrish’s unplugged choices

Derek -Monday night’s “Dancing with the Stars” episode is proving to be an interesting one, in part because we are so close to the finale. Every little dance counts, and it won’t be long before we figure out who actually snags the Mirrorball Trophy.

The theme for this upcoming episode is interesting, given that you have the contestants dancing two routines to the same song. One version will be the original take on the track, and the other will be an unplugged cover sung by someone else. This means a chance for two different routines. One will probably be fun, and one will probably have some emotion behind it. As for whether or not this works as a twist, we’ll just have to wait and see.

Bethany Mota and Derek Hough – They’ll be performing a samba and a contemporary routine set to “I Want You Back” by the Jackson 5. We could see the second part of this being very sweet.

Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyd – The song here is “Tainted Love,” which should be interesting and possibly even dark. The unplugged version will be a rumba, while the normal version will be jazz.

Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas – “Problem” by Ariana Grande. Doing a quickstep to this actually seems to make a little bit of sense for whatever reason, while the second part of this, the unplugged Argentine tango, could be a little more difficult to pull off.

Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson – He is going to try to do an Argentine tango and a contemporary routine to “Love Runs Out,” but the problem right now is seeing if he will be healthy enough to dance after some injuries have slowed his routine.

Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy – They are doing “Blame” from Calvin Harris, which is the only song we’re not familiar with. The plugged version is a Paso Doble, and the other version is an Argentine tango. There are a ton of tangos this season!
