‘Mad Men’ season 7: Catch up before final eight episodes air on AMC!

Mad Men -In a matter of around five or so months, you’re going to be seeing the sad beginning of the end for Don Draper on AMC. “Mad Men” will be at the end of its road, and we’ll be left to discuss whether or not creator Matthew Weiner completely bungled the last episode of the show. (Let it be clear that we have hope in him!)

If you are behind, we have a good option now for you to watch live, or to at least set your DVRs. Beginning in the morning on November 16, AMC will be running old episodes of the series at 6:00 a.m. Eastern time, in a way that is similar to how they prepared viewers for the final eight episodes of “Breaking Bad.”

There will be more episodes airing on subsequent Sundays, but as Entertainment Weekly notes, there will be a different number of episodes airing on different Sundays. This is still a great gift for those who want to record all the episodes to watch at their leisure, or at least are anxious about picking up a DVD before realizing that they like the show.

Of course, our advice here is simple: Go pick up the show now. We do wonder if the series has been on the air a little too long, but we don’t doubt its existence as one of the best ten shows of the past decade. It is well-acted, superbly-written, and it really hits those emotional chords in ways that you would not expect.
