‘Chicago Fire’ season 3 spoilers: A deeper look into Severide’s personal life

Kelly Severide has been on quite the romantic journey so far on “Chicago Fire” season 3, and at this given moment, we are not being given a whole lot of indication that this is going to slow down anytime soon.

Instead, the last episode before Thanksgiving on November 25 will allow him to finally learn a little bit more about the arrival of Brittany (Serinda Swan) in the Windy City, and how there may have been a few reasons why she wanted to run away with him so quickly. This episode is entitled “Arrest in Transit,” and you can take a look at just what you can expect in the official synopsis:

“When the team responds to a semi-truck leaking hydrochloric acid in a busy intersection, Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Dawson (Monica Raymund) find their relationship being put to the test. Meanwhile, Severide (Taylor Kinney) learns more about Brittany’s (guest star Serinda Swan) past and Mouch (Christian Stolte) has some difficulties in his dating life.”

Clearly, this is going to be an episode that really emphasizes relationships all across the board, and we feel right now for Casey and Dawson especially. While these two may be together, the way in which they’ve been forced to navigate the tricky waters of their relationship at the moment cannot be easy. Maybe that will change as we get a little bit further into the season, but for the time being, it does not look good.
