‘Two and a Half Men’ season 12 spoilers: Walden the foster parent

It begins -Clearly, “Two and a Half Men” is not altogether concerned with hurrying things along too quickly with this story all about Walden and his quest to become a dad. In a patter of just a couple of weeks, we could see Ashton Kutcher’s character with a kid!

There is a new episode airing on Thanksgiving Day (surprising, we know) entitled “Oontz. Oontz. Oontz,” and this one will feature a child who may end up sticking around on the show for a while, at least based on the way in which he is described in the synopsis below:

“Walden decides to foster a 6-year-old boy, but begins to doubt himself when they don’t bond like he expected, on TWO AND A HALF MEN, Thursday, Nov. 27 (9:01-9:30PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Edan Alexander joins the cast as Louis, the foster child.”

One thing we just noticed in looking over this release, which has actually been active for a while, is that Amber Tamblyn is no longer listed as a series regular. For the episodes that she is in, she is listed instead under “recurring.” We are not that surprised about the change, given that the show never quite figured out what to do with the Jenny character. Still, it’s a little weird to be seeing less of her, given that she is supposedly still living with the guys.

There is not any real relevancy to this episode that comes out of that observation; we just wanted to point it out.

In case you’re wondering why this is airing on Thanksgiving, we have a full explanation here. The short version is that there are so many new episodes, and too few weeks due to the NFL broadcasts on Thursday nights.
