MTV’s ‘Awkward’ season 4 finale spoilers: Did Jenna get into college?

Tuesday night marks the season 4 finale on “Awkward,” and it also should be a good opportunity to figure out just how the final few months of high school for Jenna Hamilton are going to go. This is the time when she has to make big decisions on her future, and it is very difficult.

However, it appears as though one issue has finally been resolved: Where Jenna is going to go to college. The sneak-peek below features Ashley Rickards’ character in a conversation with Lacey, where it is revealed that Jenna got accepted to a school that her mother calls “great.” Unfortunately, that is all that is said. We know the name of the college would probably be fake anyway, but it would have been nice to hear.

Also, Lacey gives Jenna some much-need advice, as well, for her final few months of school: It would be a terrible move to make them all about Matty. Most of us who have been watching this show have felt this way for the longest time anyway. Do we want to see her end up with Matty eventually? Sure, but we hoped that there was going to be some sort of period in here where she would take a little bit of time to figure herself out. That has not really happened, given that almost anytime she has not been in love with him, she’s found another guy in her life like Collin or most recently Owen.

We’ll get some answers on MTV Tuesday, just as we will also probably get a cliffhanger.
