‘Sons of Anarchy’ series finale: Did Drea de Matteo really just hype it up THAT much?

Everyone knows that “Sons of Anarchy” is a tremendous series, but did the ITV show really find a way to take things to yet another level for the upcoming series finale? If you are to believe what Drea de Matteo is saying, it may surpass almost anything else you’ve ever seen.

The actress behind Wendy, who is a series regular for the final 13 episodes, explained to TVLine that based on everything that she has seen for the show moving forward, your mind is going to be blown:

“I haven’t seen the episodes put together yet, and I haven’t fully read them, but the little bit I do know… it might be one of the best series finales of all time. The final episodes are f—ing beautiful.”

Were this coming from another actor, we may not put as much stock in it. However, Drea is best known for “The Sopranos,” which probably has seen more speculation and debate over the years than any other show in human history. We feel almost that this would cause her to not hype something up this much unless she really meant it.

So basically, this ending is probably going to be awesome. There is a whole lot to get through in these episodes, including Jax Teller trying to figure out whether or not he wants to punish his mother for Tara’s murder, and also Juice’s tale of survival behind bars. Surely, at least a few more people are going to die before this ends, and it is also very possible that some could suffer fates so much worse than death.
