‘Scorpion’ episode 9 preview: First look at ‘True Blood’ star’s appearance

Next week, a new episode of “Scorpion” is going to come on the air, and we almost definitely are going to have some fun with this one.

Why is that? Well, it’s always nice to see a familiar face turn up from another show, and on this episode (entitled “Rogue Element”), we’re going to get an appearance from “True Blood” alum Jessica Tuck. Remember Nan Flanagan? Well, for many years she was the face of the Vampire Authority before meeting an unfortunate demise. Nope, don’t feel bad about spoiling that. It was years ago!

Just in case that was not interesting enough for you, the synopsis below teases that there are some developments ahead for the Cabe character in having Tuck’s character surface in this world:

“Team Scorpion must help protect Cabe’s ex-wife after she uncovers evidence that suggests foul play in the death of a prominent congressman, on SCORPION, Monday, Nov. 17 (9:00-9:59 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Jessica Tuck guest stars as Cabe’s ex-wife.”

The remarkable thing about “Scorpion” to us is how quickly CBS is burning through most of these episodes. After all, we’re not that far away now from the halfway point in the 22-episode season, and there is still many months to go until May, which is most-likely when the finale is going to be unless the network tries to do something funny and messy around with the schedule. (Hey, it’s happened before.)
