‘The Good Wife’ season 6 spoilers: Chris Elliott brought in as…
Chris Elliott has already shown throughout his career that he can do almost anything, so why not be excited about what he is going to bring to the table on “The Good Wife“?
According to a new report from TVLine, Elliott (who has guest-starred in countless shows over the years) will appear here in a role that is particularly interesting: Helping Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) prepare for some of her upcoming debates against Frank Prady (David Hyde Pierce). Specifically, he will be a stand-in for the Frank character during some practice debates in the State’s Attorney race.
Hopefully, this is going to be an outlet for some good humor, and we hope that the show is a little more substantial than it is being teased at the moment. After all, if you have an actor like Elliott on board your show, why not find a way to use him to the best of your ability?
Elliott of course does join an enormous legion of great guest-stars to come on the show, which includes the likes of Michael J. Fox, Maura Tierney, Kristin Chenoweth, Martha Plimpton, Carrie Preston, and so many more.
“The Good Wife” has a small sampling of new episodes coming up this fall, and then it will go on hiatus for a little while as it starts to prepare for a run this spring. Meanwhile, “The Mentalist” will take over its place in the lineup for a time.
Stay tuned, since we’ll have some further news very soon.
