ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4, episode 7 review: David, Emily, the truth, and Victoria’s accident
Tonight, “Revenge” had an episode that hyped up the big reunion between Emily Thorne and David Clarke, even though this really happened and was over within the span of a few minutes at the beginning of the episode.
From there, the story had to try and find a way to keep us interested, and we’ll at least give them credit for throwing a bunch of interesting ideas into the mix.
This was actually a pretty Nolan-heavy episode, as he tried to recover from what happened to him at the hands of David Clarke and others throughout this past episode of the show. He found his own power, bought a new establishment for himself, and ultimately got a chance to relax and breathe for a few minutes.
While nothing on this show makes a whole lot of sense, including Daniel’s entire relationship with Louise, we’re not going to deny that it is still entertaining watching him make so many mistakes. With that being said, why do we still have Margaux? How much does she really matter at this point?
Eventually, everything did circle back to Emily and David, and in a pretty dramatic way as we saw him finally learn the truth about her right when she realized just how close he really was to her the whole time. Right when they were having their reunion, though, a shocking “accident” for Victoria may change everything. Can you really be surprised by this? Well, you shouldn’t. She is, after all, a complete master of timing. Grade: B+.
