‘Hawaii Five-0’ 100th episode: Grace Park, Alex O’Loughlin on favorite moments

Friday night marks an amazing achievement for all of the cast and crew of “Hawaii Five-0,” and with that in mind, doesn’t it seem appropriate right now that they all take a minute or two to reflect?

In the video below, you can see everyone from Grace Park to Alex O’Loughlin to even more recent arrivals like Chi McBride and Jorge Garcia go through and explain what some of their favorite moments throughout the course of the show have been. Some of them are specifically related to the story, while some others are just glorious life moments or major milestones in a career. Personally, our favorite story comes from O’Loughlin as he talks about a moment that just sounds 100% serene.

In terms of our own favorite moments on the show, we tend to gravitate mostly towards ones that pay homage both to the original version of the show so many decades ago, and to go along with that, ones that really take advantage of the gorgeous scenery that these people have as a backdrop day in and day out. There are so few other shows that are Hawaii-based, and at the same time also have it as their primary setting. That was the problem with “Lost”; they never could actually say that they were on the Aloha State when the episodes aired on ABC.

Here’s to many more great stories! While we honestly don’t know how many more seasons the show has (ratings have not been great on Friday nights), we’ll at least hope for a few more great moments.
