ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4, ‘Nashville’ season 3, ‘Castle’ season 7 winter finale dates revealed

Emily -ABC was kind enough to throw most of us TV schedulers a bone today, as they decided to completely lift the veil on when some of their top shows are ending for the fall, and also when some are coming back.

We’ve got the entire list of finale dates below for the fall, and to go along with that, there’s some analysis of what some of these dates mean.

“Once Upon a Time,” “Revenge,” and “Resurrection” – Sunday, December 14. It is interesting that all three shows are ending at the same time, given that this will leave the latter show with just a couple of episodes left this season. While we know that the fairy-tale drama is returning on March 1, there is no formal return date for some of the other shows right now.

“Grey’s Anatomy,” “Scandal,” and “How to Get Away with Murder” – Thursday, November 20. While #TGIT is ending pretty early this fall, it does mean that you get some more of the show after the holiday season is wrapped up. Isn’t that something to be happy about?

“Castle” – Monday, December 8. Expect to see some teasers on Rick’s disappearance in the winter finale.

“Agents of SHIELD” – Tuesday, December 9. “Agent Carter” will take the show’s place starting in January, and will run until March.

“Nashville” – Wednesday, December 10. This show will be back at some point early next year to keep airing its stories.

What do you think about some of these finale dates right now, and are you concerned about the ambiguity for “Revenge” and “Resurrection” at the moment?
