‘Survivor: San Juan del Sur’ episode 8 preview: Jon, Jaclyn stuck between battle of the sexes
Tonight’s episode of “Survivor: San Juan del Sur” couldn’t have ended better for the sake of good television. Julie McGee didn’t want to be there anymore, so she left. Therefore, we’re left with players who are all still committed, and who will hopefully make for further entertainment to go along with it.
After it looked like there were quite a few clear divisions between alliances tonight, it looks like something could change things around next week: The men acting like jerks, and ticking off Jaclyn in the process. She no longer has an interest in going with them, which puts her somewhat at odds with her own other half in Jon.
Even with the Julie quit, these two really do control the destiny of everyone right now. They can go along with Reed & Josh and Wes & Keith, and doing so ensures that they stick around for a while. However, they could also could with Jeremy, Alec, Natalie, Baylor, and Missy, and that also gets them final six if they pick off the others.
We’re torn on this one, since we like Reed & Josh. However, it seems like they will probably have a better shot at the final four with Missy and her daughter, and from there, Jon could just win immunity. The thing that’s tough here is that we feel like they’d have the best shot of winning in the end with people like Wes or Keith, who haven’t really done anything in the game.
Ultimately, expect this to be complicated, and hopefully plenty of fun.
