‘Ink Master: Rivals’ season 5, episode 11 podcast: Jessa, Bart talk Joshua Hibbard, pot smoking, elimination

Ink MasterDid Joshua Hibbard cheat on this season of “Ink Master: Rivals”? That’s the question that has been on everyone’s minds for the past week ever since the very clever editing team behind the show left us with the cliffhanger to end all cliffhangers. Some of the other artists were accusing Joshua of doing something that was against the rules of the show, but what was it?

This edition of the CarterMatt “Ink Master: Rivals” podcast will be all about Joshua Hibbard and the great pot smoking scandal. Now obviously we only saw a small portion of the whole situation on TV and we know that there is way more to this then what we saw, but from a story telling point of view this was a great episode to watch.

We saw the other artists getting very upset with the fact that Joshua had been knowingly breaking the rules and smoking pot when the contract he signed stated that he couldn’t. They confronted him about it, and he tried to talk his way out of it, but in the end he came clean to the judges about what he was doing and things didn’t go well. Production kicked him off the show for breaking his contract and now we have a season without a Joshua Hibbard Ink Master win once again.

Not only will we be talking about Joshua’s elimination on what was one of the best tattoos of the day, but also about his Kickstarter that he launched just as the episode ended. Brilliant marketing? We thought so.
