ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4 spoilers: Who with ties to Kerry Washington’s Olivia is coming back?
Well, the fall finale of “Scandal” just go so much more interesting based on the information that we have just received.
According to sources, Khandi Alexander is going to be returning in the November 20 episode that carries with it the title of “Where the Sun Don’t Shine,” and of course, she is the actress responsible for playing the role of Olivia Pope’s mother Maya Lewis. She means some serious business, and is best known for causing a whole mess of trouble (and trying to take a few lives to go along with it).
Basically, Maya has been in B613’s patented prison ever since the end of season 3, and we’re somewhat-worried about what her mental state is going to be upon her return. To go along with that, we wonder who she could be looking to take out.
Basically, to us it was a foregone conclusion that we were going to see Maya again on the show at some point. She is too interesting a character to ignore, and “Scandal” seems to follow a very specific formula where nothing gets better in a short amount of time. It only gets worse and worse, and if you are lucky, you will have something that represents a glimmer of hope in time. For now, the only thing that you really have in this department is Olivia Pope telling Fitz that there could be hope again for them someday.
Of course, before this finale there are still two more episodes to get through. We’ll have more on those as they happen.
