‘Survivor: San Juan del Sur’ preview: Is there something bad in Julie’s bag?
Going into Wednesday night’s new episode of “Survivor: San Juan del Sur,” it feels like there are quite a few people to worry about with the merge coming up. For example, Reed and Josh may find themselves on the outside of the numbers, while Jeremy, Natalie, and Alec may not find enough people willing to work with them as single players.
Then, there is the mystery known as Julie McGee. John Rocker’s girlfriend is still in the game, but the edit for her this past episode suggested strongly that she could eventually be the person to quit. She is struggling out there, and it also does not seem like she has many friends or allies around.
If Julie does opt to quit, things are not going to look that good for her. She’ll be considered in such rare company as NaOnka, Purple Kelly, and Janu as people who chose to leave the game after the merge, though we don’t feel as badly about Janu leaving as the others. (She was probably going to be voted out very soon anyway.)
We still don’t even know for sure that Julie is the mystery quitter out there. Instead, the promo below is about her seemingly putting something in her bad that completely infuriates other people on the tribe. Maybe she pulls a Kel from “Survivor: Australia” and tries to smuggle some food.
Even if she is guilty of something bad, the irony here is that she’ll probably still be safe. She’s an easy person to drag to the end, and there are bigger fish to fry on both sides.
