‘Dancing with the Stars’ 19 spoilers: Dynamic duos for Bethany Mota, Janel Parrish, Tommy Chong, cast
Monday night’s “Dancing with the Stars” is once again going to be somewhat different than the average episode of the ballroom competition, and for one very-simple reason: The contestants are not going to be performing as themselves.
Instead, the entire story for the week is that all of the contestants have to put on their “acting” caps, and try to do something to emulate one of the most-famous pairs in the history of … well, history.
While we’ll leave the specific dances as a mystery for the time being, let’s go ahead and share some of who the performers will be, along with a few impressions.
Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson as Batman and Robin – Probably one of the most interesting routines, but also one that should be a whole lot of fun.
Bethany Mota and Derek Hough as Lucy and Ricky Ricardo – They can play goofy, so this should be no problem.
Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy as Romeo and Juliet – Given all the dating rumors, doesn’t this one make a little sense?
Lea Thompson and Artem Chigvintsev as Bonnie and Clyde – Lea should be one of the better dancers at this, given her own personal history.
Michael Waltrip and Emma Slater as Tarzan and Jane – Complete trainwreck. Write this down right now.
Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas as Adam and Eve – Well, the Robertsons do love the Bible! With that being said, we’re pretty sure they would not approve of most Adam and Eve costumes.
Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyd as Johnny and June Cash – This should be fun, and maybe sentimental if done right.
