‘The Mentalist’ season 7 spoilers: How long will filming last for Simon Baker, cast?
Production has been underway on the seventh season of “The Mentalist” for a little while now, but that doesn’t help to answer another question: How long will it last? All good things come to an end, and based on the latest information online, Simon Baker and company may be done filming the show before you even get a chance to see a single episode this season.
In a post on Twitter (see below), technical adviser Karl Sonnenberg suggested that December 19 is going to be the last day, which means that everyone will be finished just in time for the holidays. Given that the show is now well past the halfway point, this does seem to be the right amount of time … even with a few days off for Thanksgiving thrown in there at some point.
Now, the only question that remains is if December 19 is the official end for the show altogether. CBS and Baker are not confirming it for sure, but our general sentiment here is that we are expecting the worst, and will be pleasantly surprised in the event that something happens that gives the series a second life on the network.
The one thing that we have to hope for with this show is that in the event that this is the end of the road for the show, there is going to be an ending that satisfies everyone who has loved the show for so long.
Hopefully, we’ll have some further updates when it comes to the story on the show moving ahead. Be sure to stay tuned!

What if the ratings are higher than some of their current shows? Will it be given a chance to return? Some CBS shows are not doing well.

I just hope Patrick Jane gets a shave and some new clothes before they quit filming.
