‘Chicago Fire’ season 3, episode 6 preview: Don’t mess with Jesse Spencer’s Casey

Tomorrow night on NBC, “Chicago Fire” season 3 will air yet another new episode, and based on the sneak-peek video that we have for it below, there appears to be one simple takeaway in that you really don’t want to mess with Casey right now. If you do, you better be prepared for some of the consequences that could come your way.

In the sneak peek below, you can see Jesse Spencer’s character lay the hammer down on who is proving himself to be a very bad man, and it also just so happens to be tied to the character’s sister. Ultimately, the message here seems pretty simple: This is not a guy who you want to mess with by any stretch of the imagination.

We’re glad to see protective Casey, or at least Casey doing something that is different than most of his storylines on the show so far this season. The majority of the time, season 3 Casey has occupied his time by dealing with some issues with Dawson and his personal life, and also recovering from what happened to Shay.

As for just how long this story is going to go on, that is something that we’re still interested in figuring out. It doesn’t feel like something that will last for the rest of the fall, but who knows? “Chicago Fire” does seem to be more serialized than some of the others within the Dick Wolf family of shows, so we are not necessarily ruling this out by any stretch of the imagination.
