‘The Flash’ episode 4 spoilers: About Cisco Ramon’s cold gun
Could Tuesday night’s new episode of “The Flash” be a big one for the Cisco Ramon character? Based on some early indications that we have heard now, it looks like this could very much be the case.
Speaking per Entertainment Weekly, Carlos Valdes made it clear that one of the biggest things that he has to figure out is how he is going to handle the pressure of being a part of a team of heroes. That involves making mistakes. He created a cold gun for precautionary reasons, but in the next episode he has to handle the fact that someone terrible in Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) has gotten a hold of it:
“Cisco has this trajectory of growth … Part of that growth involves his coming to terms with responsibility and what it means to be a hero and what it means to accept responsibility for the things that you’ve done. That episode is very important for Cisco in terms of learning the lessons of responsibility, especially when it comes to the people that he loves and the people that he cares about.”
One other thing we wonder in here is whether or not this journey for Cisco this season is going to include him eventually becoming the character Vibe, who is a particularly powerful member of the DC Comic universe. It doesn’t seem like that is something that is coming up immediately on the show, but if it does, we’ll be just as interested as if Caitlin Snow eventually becomes Killer Frost.
